Counseling Rates
Anti-Oppressive Fee Structure
For non-insurance clients, I provide therapy services using the anti-oppressive rate structure listed below.
An anti-oppressive fee structure is a sliding scale model rooted in solidarity economics and redistributive justice. This tiered pricing system demonstrates my commitment to social justice and aims to make therapy more accessible, regardless of financial situation. You can read more about this in the FAQs.
Please review the following questions in the adjacent section to determine which level may best fit your circumstances. If you can invest more in your healing, please do so, as your decision is an act of solidarity. Those who can commit to my full fee and redistributive (pay-it-forward) rates directly support individuals and communities with more limited resources.
Redistributive (Pay-It-Forward): $275 (Yes 14-17 questions)
Full fee: $225 (Yes to 10-13 questions)
Sustain: $180 (Yes to 7-9 questions)
Solidarity: $100 (Yes to 4-6 questions)
Reparations: $50 (Yes to 0-3 questions)
High-conflict families: Clients involved in high-conflict situations will be charged the Full Fee rate. I will only work with high-conflict families if a minor's counsel is assigned and involved. Families in high-conflict situations may incur extra fees in addition to weekly sessions due to the increased legal risk for the therapist.
Anti-Oppressive Questionnaire
Please review these questions and keep track of your responses to determine which fee rate may best fit your circumstances. I trust you know your financial reality best and do not require documentation, tax returns, or proof of hardship.

Insurance & Superbills
I am a non-network/out-of-network approved provider with TriCare/TriWest. I do not accept any other insurances at this time.
I can provide you with a superbill at the end of each month for you to submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement.
Please note, involving insurance, even via the superbill, requires a diagnosis after the first session and that diagnosis lives in your health records indefinitely. There are limitations to how much I can protect your privacy when insurance is involved in your care. It is possible that insurance will deny and/or limit coverage and reimbursement based on their interpretation of your needs.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
